Accessibility Statement
Version: 1.0
Last updated: August 20, 2026
Effective date: September 1, 2026

1. Commitment
HISICAR is committed to making its website, account, vehicle, PI, payment, support and policy content usable by people with disabilities.
HISICAR targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for website content and applies applicable accessibility law in the markets where a service is offered.
This statement is a commitment to continuous accessibility. It is not a claim of complete independent certification where an audit has not established full conformance.
2. Scope
This Statement covers:
- public pages and navigation;
- vehicle search and detail;
- registration and login;
- account and order pages;
- inquiry and support;
- PI review and acceptance;
- payment instructions and checkout handoff;
- legal and policy pages;
- Cookie settings; and
- documents generated for a transaction where HISICAR controls the format.
Third-party services are addressed in Section 8.
3. Accessibility measures
HISICAR works to provide:
- semantic headings, landmarks and structure;
- keyboard access without a mouse;
- visible focus indication;
- accessible names for controls, icons and dialogs;
- labels, instructions and error identification for forms;
- sufficient colour contrast;
- text resizing and responsive reflow;
- alternatives for meaningful images;
- captions/transcripts for essential multimedia where provided;
- no essential information conveyed by colour alone;
- clear link and button purpose;
- status/error announcements for assistive technology;
- accessible authentication and MFA alternatives;
- accessible time limits or extensions where security allows;
- reduced-motion respect where applicable;
- language and direction metadata, including right-to-left support;
- accessible policy downloads; and
- a non-map text/address alternative where reasonably available.
4. Authentication
HISICAR aims to avoid authentication tasks that depend solely on memory, puzzles, colour, hearing or a single device capability.
Where a provider login, CAPTCHA, QR code, camera scan or WhatsApp OTP is inaccessible, request a reasonable alternative through info@hisicar.com. A binding action must not proceed until an equivalent accessible route or assisted process satisfies the same security and identity requirements.
5. Vehicle content
Vehicle images under HISICAR's control must include meaningful alternative text or be accompanied by structured vehicle and condition information. A visual-only defect indication must be supplemented by a written description where the defect is material to the transaction.
Inspection and reconditioning records controlled by HISICAR must be made available in an accessible electronic format. An accessible summary or alternative for a scanned third-party document may be requested from info@hisicar.com.
6. PI and legal acceptance
Before a binding action, the user must be able to:
- navigate the PI and incorporated terms by keyboard;
- identify material terms;
- access and download the records;
- correct input;
- understand the button’s legal consequence; and
- request an accessible alternative or explanation.
An accessibility accommodation does not reduce security, authority or compliance requirements. HISICAR provides an equivalent reasonable process.
7. Payment
HISICAR-controlled payment instructions must support screen-reader and keyboard access. Stripe and other provider interfaces are governed by their accessibility support; an alternative eligible payment route or assisted process must be offered where reasonably available and legally required.
Bank details must be provided as selectable text rather than only as an image. Cash redemption must not be the sole payment route for a user who cannot access a QR or camera function when another eligible route is available.
8. Third-party content
Some login, payment, map, messaging, transport, inspection and embedded services are supplied by third parties. HISICAR does not control all provider interfaces.
HISICAR:
- considers accessibility before enabling a provider;
- supplies an alternative or support route where reasonably possible;
- reports material provider barriers;
- does not remove an accessible core path solely to promote a third-party feature; and
- identifies when content leaves the HISICAR website.
9. Known and reported barriers
HISICAR must record reported and verified accessibility barriers in an internal issue register, using automated testing, keyboard/screen-reader review, document review and user feedback as applicable.
A material barrier affecting registration, PI acceptance, payment, safety or a legal right must receive priority remediation and an interim accessible alternative where reasonably possible.
You may request information about a known barrier and its remediation status from info@hisicar.com.
10. Testing and governance
Accessibility is included in:
- design and component review;
- content authoring;
- development acceptance criteria;
- automated checks;
- keyboard and screen-reader testing;
- document/PDF review;
- procurement and provider review;
- release regression testing; and
- staff training.
HISICAR must review critical purchase and account flows after material changes and conduct a broader review at least annually.
11. Feedback and accommodation request
Send accessibility feedback or a request to info@hisicar.com with:
- page or document;
- task you were trying to complete;
- barrier encountered;
- browser/device/assistive technology if you choose to provide it; and
- preferred format or accommodation.
Do not include passwords, OTPs or full payment details.
12. Response
HISICAR will acknowledge and address an accessibility request as promptly as reasonably possible and within any mandatory period. If a complete response is not yet available, HISICAR will explain the next step and expected response date.
13. Alternative formats
Reasonable alternative formats can include:
- accessible HTML;
- tagged PDF;
- structured plain text;
- larger text;
- written explanation of a visual report;
- assisted account/PI review without changing the user’s decision; or
- another format agreed with the user.
No additional fee is charged for a reasonable accessibility format.
14. No retaliation
HISICAR does not retaliate or reduce service because a person requests accessibility support or reports a barrier.
15. Complaints
An unresolved accessibility complaint can be submitted under the Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy at info@hisicar.com. Mandatory local accessibility complaint or regulator rights remain available.
